Full racing use only exhaust kit by Akrapovic, hydroformed titanium pipes with carbon fiber elliptic muffler, derived from the Superstock World Championship exhaust.
Compared to the current version (named “EVO”) it has a different header layout, with a crossover pipe that gives an even more power at mid revs, while keeping the same top end power.
Like the previous version, the flanges that connect the pipes to engine’s head are made out of CNC machined aluminum and the muffler’s bracket is made of carbon fiber.
The whole kit weights less than 11lbs (5 kgs) and gives a big torque increase between 4500-8000 rpm, giving better acceleration out of turns.
The power increase is about 6hp, with that gain evident in the whole rpm range and a peak gain of 9hp at about 7000rpm.
Along with the exhaust, you get an unlock code activating three ECU maps, all of which are “full power” but give a different throttle response.
The “S” map gives a smoother throttle response, the “R” map gives a reduced torque output in the first 3 gears and the “T” map has no limitations.
Unlike any other exhaust on the market, use of this exhaust will not void the warranty of the vehicle.
