For us in Canada securing one of these machines is a very difficult task (verly limited availability of this model), had to purchase it in January and wait until April for delivery. Even then I had to phone around to dealers to ensure that they were going to get one. The wait was worth it! The ride quality and cornering of this machine was fantastic. A friend of mine has a Sea-doo, and this is a much nicer machine in quality,comfort and design.
Biggest complaint I have is that the season is too short here in Canada, and not enough days off - certainly not Yamaha's issue, guess I need to be sick more often.
I gave a rating of 4 for performance only due to the low end performance when pulling heavier accessories (3 passanger tubes). I found that it took a while for it to plain out and have a lot of thrust, even with the trim being used. That being said, when riding with myself or passangers, it is fantastic. We achieved 57 mph at higher altitude.
Made the mistake of letting the wife ride it, now we need to buy another one.
